Has Spring sprung?

I hope so because we have a lot of excited children in school ready to go away for one or two nights on their residential trip.

Miss Ahmed's Y2 class have just set off to go to Castleton. They will hike up to Peveril castle and venture down Treak Cliffe cavern. They will learn so much about the environment, as their own independence. The last time I took a trip to Castleton as a Y6 teacher I remember all the boys picking wild flowers and decorating their rooms with them. A chance for them to explore the world uninhibited.

I hope the British weather is as kind as it can be for them so they get the absolute maximum from their time.

Parents, please don't worry your children are safe and happy. Experience has taught me that you are probably missing them rather than the other way round!
